Big Day Birding at Heckrodt

  • Heckrodt Wetland Reserve 1305 Plank Road Menasha United States (map)

Join us on eBird’s October Big Day to observe, record, and celebrate avian diversity at Heckrodt Wetland Reserve in Menasha. This popular 91-acre urban nature reserve consists of several different types of habitat, including forested wetland, upland forest, and cattail marsh. We will take a walk around the reserve, watching and listening for migratory bird species, such as waterbirds, kinglets, thrushes, sparrows, and warblers.

Birders of all experience levels are welcome. Bring your binoculars and come experience the fun and wonder of migration. This event is free and open to the public.
